Now through tomorrow (Sept. 10), take this brief survey to provide input about what you want to see in the Panhandle Park's upcoming renovations.

This renovation is part of the Let'sPlaySF partnership with the Recreation and Park Department and the San Francisco Parks Alliance, which are working together to bring 13 playground improvements throughout the city.

If you missed the survey you can still learn more about the project and the associated organizations.

Why renovate the playground?

The Recreation & Park Department's plan is to bring the playground up to current health and safety standards, with considerations covering shade, visibility, wind shelter, restroom access, and connectivity to the park network.

Currently, the Panhandle park is 7,000 square feet (see map). Some of the problems include arsenic treatment in the wooden aspects of the playground, busy streets nearby, and limited tables and chairs. The project budget is about $3.2 million in total.
